The project was delivered through the Design/Build delivery method with Rogers-O’Brien Construction and Schneider Halls Design. The project included a separate 25,000 SF critical access hospital, a 5,200 SF rural health clinic, and the nursing home facility. These facilities are connected by covered pedestrian walkways that facilitate the sharing of services and provide for the easy access of families, patients and staff. The Critical Access Hospital offers 14 inpatient beds in nine rooms, including five semi-private rooms. In addition, the Hospital includes emergency, imaging, laboratory and physical therapy departments, as well as the support and administrative services necessary to operate the Hospital and meet state and federal regulatory requirements. The Rural Health Clinic includes nine exam rooms and be sized to accommodate the patient volumes associated with three physicians and allied health providers. Also included is a Nursing Home with 34 beds (30 private and two semi-private rooms), as well as an administration/support area offering various services to the residents, such as a dietary office, chapel, fully-equipped kitchen and dining hall, gift shop, beauty salon, activity room, treatment/exam rooms and laundry facilities.
