Following a 30-year career in healthcare administration, including 12 years as president of Methodist Dallas Medical Center, John joined Rogers-O’Brien in 2004 to lead the company’s entry into medical construction. His experience on the owner side gave John invaluable insight into the needs of healthcare clients. Total healthcare construction revenue has grown to more than $1 billion and regularly exceeds $100 million annually. John’s duties also include directing the marketing and client relations functions for the company and conducting leadership development courses for staff members and clients.
John holds a bachelor’s degree from Trinity University and a master’s of health administration from Washington University. He is a Lifetime Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (LFACHE) – the highest level of credentials in the professional organization of healthcare executives. In the community, John is a Life member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas. He is active in choral and lay leadership roles at University Park United Methodist Church. John enjoys golf and traveling with his wife, Joyce. They have four adult children and one grandchild.
